Ste. Genevieve Sugared Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Ste. Genevieve Pecans (any other type may be substituted)
  • 1 egg white
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp Ground cinnamon (to taste)

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cover a baking sheet pan with aluminum foil lightly coated with cooking spray.

In a mixing bowl, mix pecans and egg whites thoroughly. Sprinkle with desired amount of cinnamon. Add sugar and mix to coat pecans evenly.

Spread out in a single layer on sheet pan. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool. Remove from foil and break apart when completely cooled.

Great as a snack or on salads!
