Come Celebrate the Total Solar Eclipse in Missouri's Most Historic Town!

Sunday & Monday, August 20th & 21st, 2017

Ste. Genevieve is located on the Center Line of the 2017 total solar eclipse that is being called the “Eclipse of a Generation”! Experience MAXIMUM TOTALITY in an ideal setting with 360 degree viewing on the centerline!  The community of Ste. Genevieve will be hosting two days of events celebrating this astronomical wonder.  Activities include a music festival and beer garden on Sunday, and an Eclipse Viewing Party on Monday from 10 am until 3:00 pm with reserved viewing, food venues, lawn games, solar-themed art displays, Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics (STEM) and state parks exhibits and advance viewing through specially filtered telescopes while astronomers explain this phenomenon! The skies over Ste. Genevieve will darken on Monday from approximately 11:30 am to 2:30 pm with the maximum totality occurring shortly after 1:15 pm.

Event packages include reserved space for eclipse viewing, nearby reserved parking and passes for the Solar Express parking shuttles.  Bring your pop-up chair and sunblock, no coolers allowed.  Come early, check out our rich French heritage, unique restaurants, and exclusive Route du Vin wine country – and experience the history and hospitality of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri’s most historic town.

Advance registration required, spaces are limited.  Reserve your premier viewing space and order ‘I saw the Total Solar Eclipse in Ste Genevieve’ commemorative Eclipse Glasses.  First come, first served.
