Built around 1800, the Old Brick is one of the oldest brick buildings west of the Mississippi. It has served as a territorial court house as well as a school.

Weingarten Vineyard specialize in two Missouri wines, Norton – a deep, dry red wine and Vivant a semi-dry sweet white wine. Everyone’s tastes differ, so in addition to wines they offer a varied collection of red and white wines as well as Weingarten microbrew beer.
